This is another one of my first digital drawings that I created from a pencil drawing from an old sketch book.
In my youth I went through several experiences that had a great impact on my life. Some of the first were my experiences on missions trips to the Republic of Georgia. Connecting with people across the world who were living in drastically different culture and life quality blew open my mind in a way that no other experience, then or since, has had such an impact. The next most life changing experience was when I crashed my carbon fiber racing bicycle into the side of a flatbed trailer which scalped the top of my head and dislocated my right shoulder. My down time led to another drastic life changing experience and that was my first experiences with psilocybin, DMT and LSD. These experiences answered many questions while also opening the door to many more questions. These molecules can be very helpful in opening our mind beyond our conditioning but they also come with the danger of over amplifying the ego and therefore must be approached with reverence and respect and used only sparingly and with proper supervision. Through tragedy or curiosity
Some dive willingly
Some stumble in
Some are pushed
Some are shoved
However the means
Here we are
Look backwards
Look forwards
Look here or there
For answers
But the journey continues
No matter what
